. . . where ancient customs of Anglicanism grace contemplative
worship, and parish life and practice arise from the foundations
of Christian faith.
Foundations of Faith
|
St.
Timothy, our patron saint, exercised pastoral care over
early Christian churches during the first century AD.
Personal letters from his mentor, Paul the Apostle,
provide relevant instruction for the Church today. As
taught in these canonical writings and based upon
multiple proofs, we uphold the Holy Scripture as the
authoritative Word of God. The biblical and
Christ-honoring liturgy of the traditional Anglican Book
of Common Prayer is used in our worship.
It is our joy
to testify, through historical and
present-day
witnesses, of God's faithfulness and of Christ's
transforming love.

Parish Life & Practice
|
From
seeds of faith sown by three,
the
St. Timothy's Reformed
Episcopal Mission was formed in 2004 in Jonesboro,
Arkansas. Today St. Timothy's Anglican Church provides a
place for traditional worship, vibrant service, and warm
fellowship under the leadership of the
Rev. Rondal Martin,
Rector of St. Timothy's Church.
Worship services center on the celebration of
Holy Communion; Christian education is offered for
children, youth, and adults; opportunities for service and
fellowship engage all ages. Corporate and
personal worship is supported through vocal and
instrumental music, Scripture,
teaching,
and the liturgy. Children worship in their own
chapel, then join adults for the Holy Eucharist. The
Body life at St. Timothy's includes participation in
worship ministries, Bible studies, Catechism classes,
weekly potlucks, youth and children's ministries, special events,
and intercessory prayer.
